October Drift released their latest single “Tyrannosaurus Wreck” as they build up to the release of their 3rd album.

Today marked the release of “Tyrannosaurus Wreck”, the third single teased, as Ocotber Drift prepare for the upcoming release of “Blame the Young” on the 27th September. However what did the team think of the curiously titled track?

It shares familiar themes to what we’ve become used to from the group, the aspirations and visons we have for ourselves versus the harsh realities of our lives. The song (like many of its predecessors) feels like an anthem we can all relate to and therefore endears itself to you .

Its definitely a track with replayability, as it only improves on each subsequent listen, providing yet another strong addition to the new album. However, if we were being honest, it lacks the star power of the title track “Blame the Young”, despite being a quality a single.

“Tyrannosaurus Wreck” certainly gets our approval however and scores a respectable 7.4/10 .
